Had the pleasure of being a first time volunteer at Feeding Dreams for the past 2+ weeks and was fortunate to attend Feeding Dreams 10th anniversary celebration this week:

It’s a real credit to everyone at Feeding Dreams to have reached this milestone, especially with the country being shut down and funding and contributions coming to a trickle due to Covid.
Good news is things have opened up, people are traveling again and Feeding Dreams continues to do its great work.
However, working with Kerry and her leaders during my time here, it became clear that financial help is especially needed now to sustain the great work they do.
I have worked with NGO’s around the world for the last 4 decades and can honestly say, as many of you are aware, something special is happening at Feeding Dreams.
Know this is going to many previous volunteers, sponsors and Feeding Dreams donors AND clearly know there are many great causes to contribute to.
If you are able to assist further, as a returning volunteer, sponsor and/or donor, know this would be highly appreciated and will make a big difference to Feeding Dreams day to day operations and on-going programs
Very happy I’ve had this opportunity to be of service and contribute as a donor. Now look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for Feeding Dreams with others upon my return to Canada.
Amazing group of staff, really special kids and I have made friends for life in my fellow volunteers. I would like to thank everyone involved in FDC. This experience has change the way I view the world and as given me a rare insight into this beautiful Cambodian country.
Absolutely amazing and truly humbling experience that I will never forget. Thank you for having me, and for all the amazing work being done here at Feeding Dreams with the community and children.
Thank you for allowing me to spend time and give back to the most sweetest children! Thank you for all that you do for these kids. Would definitely want to come back soon!
Loved every minute of our visit this week. What an incredible organization of selfless people. We were welcomed like royalty and had a great time at assembly and New Year celebrations. Looking forward to returning as a volunteer in the near future.
Volunteering at Feeding dreams was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I arrived at the school alone but soon had soo many gorgeous new friends. The school changes lives every day.
This organisation is full of ordinary people doing extraordinary things in a very determined way – no fuss, no fanfare – just getting on with helping those that need it on the ground.
FDC is an amazing Non-profit organisation that gives children the opportunity to shine. These children do not have the same privileges as I did growing up, yet the amount of love and happiness shown towards my friends and I was overwhelming.
The teachers are very kind and nice. Everyone at Feeding Dreams is very friendly. I had a lovely time here and am sad to leave. Morn is a very lovely teacher. Thank you for having me.
Our journey was exceptional – the children phenomenal (they need your time), the staff awe inspiring – the experience gave us a grounding – a passion, a new love and a clear change in thinking. If you want to give something back, for us, Feeding Dreams, we can’t recommend it enough – go there, give yourself, do it and you will love all that it brings to you!
Fantastic! You all do a great job for these wonderful children. I would love to return at some stage and see the progress. Good luck with the new school and I will definitely keep in touch.
I admired the way both teachers and students showed respect for each other. Also, the students may not have much in the material sense but they truly know how to enjoy life.
FDC is an amazing place full of learning, laughter and life. The teachers are wonderful and the children are all so eager to learn. This place is truly helping the children of the families from all areas across Siem Reap. The energy from volunteers, teachers, staff and children is endless! I hope to return when the new school is built!
This school is excellent; it has opened my eyes to the suffering that goes on, but also the amazing help that can be available to the students. It has inspired us to make a regular donation by sponsoring a child, and I really wish her the best of luck, and luck to every student, teacher and future volunteers, it’s such an inspirational place at FDC.
Such a beautiful school with beautiful teachers, staff and students. Very friendly land always happy and willing to help. Can’t wait to start planning to come back, hopefully early 2015!
Volunteering at Feeding Dreams has been one of the most eye-opening but reward experiences I have had the opportunity to partake in. After my 2 weeks here (too short), I cannot sing my praises of this organization enough! The support provided to poor and underprivileged families through education and food for the children, as well as housing and community supporting the villages, is absolutely incredible.
Within the classroom, the children are wonderful and their drive to learn is inspiring. They learn a lot through the help of volunteers especially the correct pronunciation of English words. I am so happy to have helped these deserving children and wish I could stay longer. I will certainly be returning.
A short but very eventful two weeks here has allowed me to appreciate the sheer magnitude of difference that Feeding Dreams Makes, both in-front and behind the scenes. The most significant aspect of the organization is the emphasis on a hand-up, not a hand-out which I definitely agree is the best use of it’s very very limited resources.
The sheer dedication of FD’s staff and volunteers has opened my eyes to how despite the difficulties this country has faced so far, everyone is committed to a brighter and more prosperous future and that is something I am very proud to contribute to.
I’m so happy with my decision to volunteer my time to the children and the team at Feeding Dreams in Siem Reap. It has been a life changing experience for me.
The love, compassion and endless work achieved in this little but growing school, to bring a hope a lot of hope for not only the students but their families is just the most worthwhile adventure. Give it a go!

Volunteering with FDC in January this year changed my life forever. I have since been back one more time and am returning again in January 2016. Words cannot explain how much I love this place and how humbling the experience is. It is so important what this school is doing and it is truly changing the lives of 850 underprivileged children in Siem Reap. The success lies in the stories, those kids who have graduated have gone on to be placed in jobs based on their ability to speak english – as opposed to collecting rubbish or even worse. I love this school and anyone who goes will too. Great cause.
What an amazing and inspirational team of people. Kerry and the staff work so hard to keep this very essential school open and need all the funds they can get. Not only do they look after the children who come to the school but also the families of those children. Garry and the boys did a fantastic job of building the new house and to see the emotional impact on the family today was fantastic. Great group of people to travel with made this experience fantastic for myself and Angela. Thank you so much for including me.
Volunteering with FDC was a life changing experience that I most certainly will keep returning to Cambodia for. The children are so humble and kind and the staff are so caring, genuine and hard working. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such beautiful people and I can’t wait to get back!
The experience at FDC was amazing. The children were beautiful, affectionate and eager to learn. The dedicated staff were inspirational. The pictures show happy, smiling faces despite the fact that the conditions are so basic. So much more could be done but more money is needed. Congratulations to Kerry and her team. You are very special people.
A life changing experience filled with laughter, tears, lots of hugs and a great deal of personal growth. Great work being done by the staff here who are extremely passionate and always willing to help you get the most out of your time here
What an amazing experience we had visiting feeding dreams Cambodia. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The children and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Most favorite part of our visit to Cambodia.
How lucky was I, to have had the opportunity to volunteer at Feeding Dreams Cambodia. It was an amazing and humbling experience. The support of the staff was excellent (I could not have asked for more) and I was made to feel so welcomed.
It was certainly an eye opener and I feel that I have more of an understanding of the work that the amazing staff do. The support provided to the students and their families is incredible. I will always remember the smiles and hugs of the children and I hope to see the smiles again and feel the hugs when I return.
I can’t thank you enough for letting me spend two weeks at Feeding Dreams Cambodia. Loved every single minute, and all the hugs and beautiful smiles made it even better. You are all amazing people and I’ll never forget you. See you soon xxx
Thank you for the the wonderful experience and memories. I loved all the students and staff at the Feeding Dreams. I hope I can visit real soon!
Feeding Dreams Cambodia is amazing! I have loved every moment, smile and hug! Such and incredible and memorable experience. I can’t wait to come back! Love to all xoxo
Thank you for the opportunity to volunteer and spend quality time with the children of Feeding Dreams Cambodia. The children are precious and the staff was just as wonderful! Hope to be back soon!
Feeding Dreams is a great organisation helping children learn english, as well as the Training Centre teaching the older children the skills for waitering, preparing them for future life. The staff are all happy and welcoming and really helped us feel welcomed, as well as showing appreciation for the work we’ve completed. A Big Thank You to all the staff/volunteers at Feeding Dreams for all they have done for us, and to the children for always making us smile.
Feeding Dreams is a great organisation, filled with great people, facilities and atmosphere. A huge thanks to the students in the Dreams Training Centre for providing great lunch and service every day, and all the best to them as they go out into the work force. I’ll definitely be coming back in the near future to visit and do some more work with Gus (group leader). Thanks for allowing us boys to work here and do our best, and we hope that the rooms are a little bit cooler!!! Thank you for the great opportunity! P.s Thanks to the lovely canteen lady for supplying us with all the water and her warm smiles.
Absolutely loved everything here at Feeding Dreams. After spending some time here, working and helping here gave a great sense of pride to be a part of such a good cause. The Training Centre was wonderful, and our lunches and services were both beautiful. I am very greatful for the opportunity to have come and seen everything here. Thank you Feeding Dreams!!
Thank you for your warm welcomes and kind hospitality for our Trinity Catholic College group. We have been so honoured to work with you and for you. We hope our contributions and work will make a small difference to Feeding Dreams Cambodia. I hope to be able to see you all again sometime in the future. Kind Regards.
The level of expertise, excellence and maturity shown by the students of the Dreams Training Centre was extraordinary. The ability of which the students spoke English was amazing and humbling, and their consistency with service was amazing. A huge thank you to everyone at Feeding Dreams, I hope all the best for you in the future!
What Feeding Dreams is doing here is such a great thing. The kids are all intelligent, kind, friendly and very outgoing. I had originally planned to stay for 3 days, but once I got to know the kids I didn’t want to leave and ended up staying longer. It melts my heart to see kids with so much passion and love. It was an eye opener teaching these kids. I will definitely come back the next chance I get.
Absolutely amazing what they are all doing here. I wish I had more time to spend with these children and teachers. Most definitely coming back for a longer period of time in the future. These children have already stolen my heart.
I felt very welcomed with lots of help and support throughout the week. Sidewalk (Hotel) staff were also wonderful and always willing to help in any way.
Feeding Dreams staff are dedicated and hardworking. The children are beautiful, respected by Feeding Dreams staff without whom their lives would be much more difficult. I will continue to support Feeding Dreams and will be encouraging others to lend their support also. Thank you everyone, especially Jo, Sokna and Blaed for the opportunity to experience Feeding Dreams and the awesome work they carry out!
I had an amazing experience volunteering at FDC. It was certainly saddening at times, but an eye-opening and enriching experience nonetheless. I feel that I now have a better understanding of the struggles that students face, thanks to you and the other staff always being so willing to teach me about Cambodian way of life and the difficulties that many families face, often on a daily basis. The establishment of FDC, and the great work that you and the staff do there, really instills hope that a better life for many of these children is possible.
I found FDC to be such a positive, uplifting environment, and I hope to return again one day soon.
